Epoxy Underwater Repair Putty

For underwater epoxy putty repairs, Sylmasta manufacture two epoxy putties with different work times which bond to wet surfaces and are effective in freshwater and saltwater environments.

Superfast Aqua Potable Water has a five-minute work time and is supplied in a pre-measured 114g stick format.  It is easy to use; cut off the required amount of putty from the stick and knead by hand.

The putty will turn a uniform white colour to indicate successful mixing, after which it can be applied. Aqua PW has WRAS approval, meaning it is safe to use on pipes and fittings carrying drinking water.

Sylmasta AB Original Epoxy Putty has a two-hour work time, allowing more of the putty to be mixed, shaped and applied without the threat of premature curing. This is useful for larger, more complex underwater repair and maintenance tasks.

It is available in three colours – white, black or grey – and in two formats. The standard is a two-part putty where the resin and hardener are supplied as separate components fore greater control over measurement and mixing. AB Original Stick combines the two in a pre-formatted 200g stick.

AB Original protects against corrosion and offers excellent chemical resistance. It is ceramic-filled making it harder wearing than Superfast Aqua Potable Water Stick, and offers super-strength bonding to all materials underwater.
