The BenchVent BV570H-C, a small desktop fume cabinet to contain and filter for a cleaner, healthier working environment within dental labs, electronic design and rework, pharmaceutical labs, education and more.
What’s included with the BV570H-C? – Filter unit with fan(s) – PETG Clear hinged Hood Enclosure – Fibre filter – Activated Carbon Filter – Power Lead – Data/Warranty Booklet Where can the BV570H-C desktop fume cabinet be used? The BenchVent BV570H-C is designed for use in numerous situations where external venting is impractical but where contaminant capture and filtration is necessary.
It’s design and specification make it perfectly suited for the filtration of fume, vapour and light particulates emanating from: monomers, adhesives, conformal coatings, resins, sealants, solders, light grinding particles and dusts and organic solvents etc.
The BV570H-C Hood has a hinged lid to assist, for example, in positioning weigh scales and the like within the hood.
The weighing and handling of potentially harmful chemicals, applying adhesives, cleaning solvents, and using small grinding tools etc is carried out within the hood and cleaned air is vented to the right rear of the cabinet.
This unit is designed for immediate operator protection from concentrations of airborne contaminants whereby all gases, fumes, vapours and particulates within the hood enclosure are filtered and cleaned air is exhausted to the right rear of the cabinet.
Key Features – Hinged lid to assist in positioning products – Particulate pre-filter followed by high grade bonded carbon filter for adsorption – Clear PETG plastic fume hood Fume Cabinet with a Lifetime Guarantee All BenchVent fume filtration and extraction systems carry a lifetime warranty.
This model has been designed to be quiet in operation and can be assembled in seconds.
Place onto a desk, bench or trolley and then simply plug in and switch on.
How does this desktop fume cabinet filter contaminants? Comprises of a pre-filter to 15-20 microns followed by a 3.
5 kg high grade bonded carbon filter for hydrocarbon (organic solvent, gas) adsorption.
Through the process of filtration, adsorption and dilution, operator exposure to potentially hazardous substances is vastly reduced or eliminated.
Demonstrating adequate control of the risks to the health of employees students and the general public, from dusts, powders, mists, fumes and vapours is the fundemental requirement of the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (CoSHH).
