Sylmasta Engineering Grade RTV Silicone, is based on the acetoxy curing system. This high quality silicone cures quickly to provide a permanently flexible, high strength waterproof seal and adhesive.

It is specifically designed for automotive and glazing applications. Its high strength makes it an excellent flexible sealant and gap filling adhesive.

It will not crack or shrink, has high bond strength to metal, wood glass, G.R.P, UPVC, brick and plastics.

Sylmasta RTV Neutral Cure Silicone is a translucent, high grade, oxime cure, non-corrosive neutral cure silicone sealant that adheres to virtually all substrates, both porous and non-porous. Typically used for construction expansion joints and perimeter pointing of all types of door and window frames. Conforms to BS 5889(A) and ISO 11600.

• Low dirt pick up - important in PVCu work
• Excellent flexibility - +/- 50%.
• High resistance to plasticiser migration - may be used over water based and solvent based paints.

Do not use in conjunction with bitumen asphalt, neoprene and certain organic elastomers. Do not use in the manufacture of Aquariums. Do not use on substrates that bleed oil, solvents or plasticisers. Non overpaintable. Do not use as a mirror adhesive.
