  Micro-Gloss Type 1 Liquid Abrasive is one of the most versatile products you will ever use! This very concentrated formulation is used as the final step of finishing to not only remove any residual fine surface scratches, but to also polish to a high gloss.

Being a water-base formulation, Micro-Gloss is environmentally safe and friendly. This product contains a 1 micron abrasive crystal that works to remove fine damage. Unlike Micro-Gloss, most cleaners and polishes contain products that can damage surfaces over time. You should never use products on critical surfaces that contain any of the following:

• Petroleum distillates
• Alcohol
• Wax
• Amonnia
• Solvents

Micro-Gloss can be used on any plastic, wood, coatings, metal, and composite surfaces to give it that ultra smooth and shiny mirror finish. It takes a nice finish and makes it a wow finish!

In the aerospace industry, Micro-Gloss is recognized as a Type I daily cleaner for aircraft canopies:

• Safe for use on both bare or coated acrylic and polycarbonate aircraft canopies
• ASTM F791 tested and approved as compliant to USAF specification 16ZK002F (Addendum 2)
• Approved for use on interior and exterior aircraft canopies
• NSN #5350-01-334-8997
• Spec'd in Technical Orders: 16W2-6-2 and 16W2-5-2
• Meets Mc Donnell Douglas/Boeing Spec D6-52021
• Removes haze and milky appearances
• Removes swirl marks caused by improper cleaning methods

  Micro-Gloss #5 Liquid Abrasive is a stronger formulation than our standard, 1 micron Micro-Gloss above. Micro-Gloss #5 is approved as a Type II polish for aircraft canopies and will remove a 9 micron scratch. After using Micro-Gloss #5, follow this by using the standard Micro-Gloss for a crystal clear finish. Micro-Gloss #5 is a waterbased formulation and is environmentally safe. This concentrated cream does not cover damage or fill in damage - it removes it! Most cleaners and polishes contain products that can damage surfaces over time. Micro-Gloss #5 does not! You should never use products on critical surfaces that contain any of the following:

• Petroleum distillates
• Alcohol
• Wax
• Amonnia
• Solvents

  A premium Micro-Surface polish used as a final step to remove residual haze on coatings, paint or plastics.

Simply buff on by hand using soft cotton flannel to give your painted or urethane finishes that "wet" glossy look. Use this polish with confidence, contains no hazardous chemicals that could harm surfaces over time.

By the time you've completed your first restoral project you will have learned what a vitally important part the cloth you use for cleaning and/or buffing actually is.

Using anything other than 100 % cotton cloth; ie:paper towels, synthetic wipers, terry cloth can cause damage. It is very important not to use any of these items or cloth that has a stitched edge or any surface texture whatsoever which could transfer to your work surface.

This cloth can be washed and re-used and most importanly will not grind dirt particles that it may pick up during the cleaning process back into your transparency.

Small details are sometimes the most important, which is why the cloth is always in the kits - keep plenty on hand.
