Once rubber is fully cured, turn mould over and carefully remove all the clay, being careful not to dislodge the item. Ensure that all clay is removed from the item and the cured rubber. Acetone can be used to remove residual clay. |

Use clay to mould casting resin channels. Ensure that there is an both a resin inlet and an air outlet. The resin inlet should run to the base of the model and the air outlet should be at the top of the model. Apply release agent over the model, clay, rubber and inside walls of mould box, pour in the moulding rubber and leave to cure. |

Once the moulding rubber is fully cured, gently press the cured rubber out of the moulding box. |

Remove the item and throughly clean all traces of clay from both halves of the mould. To prepare the mould for casting, it is recommended that petroleum jelly (Vaseline) is smeared over the mould faces to ensure a good seal. Be careful not to get any inside the mould area, as this may affect the casting. |
